83% indicated their first choice candidate’s decision whether or not to accept the assignment was impacted by concerns related to spouse/partner employment;
39% expect the issue of spouse/partner employment as a reason for resisting an assignment to increase.
56% of assignments are refused because of family concerns (38%) and spouse career/income (18%)

33% identify family related issues as the top reason for a failed assignment
